Medically
Necessary
“Medically Necessary” or
“Medical Necessity” means the services or supplies provided by a Hospital,
Doctor, or other covered provider that are required to identif’ or treat
a covered loss and which, as determined by Us, are:

consistent with the diagnosis
and treatment of the covered loss;

appropriate with the standards
of good medical practice;

not solely for the convenience
of a Covered Person;
-
the most appropriate supply
or level of service which can be safely provided; and
-
not considered experimental
or investigative.
